AES Ohio is proposing Clinton substation expansion 1 project, located near the city of Wilmington in Clinton County, Ohio.

 

The proposed Clinton Substation Expansion 1 Project is part of the necessary upgrade to expand the existing substation fence line to accommodate an additional 345 kV line installed as part of the Fayette to Clinton 345-kilovolt (kV) Transmission Line Project, two customer feeds, and a new compensator. The proposed project involves expanding the substation fence line, modifying the existing ring bus, and installing nine breakers. These enhancements will support new load demands while increasing capacity, flexibility, and redundancy.
