Support for 54 local nonprofits with Community Impact Grants
AES Ohio Foundation awards more than $1.5 million in grants to Miami Valley non-profits

Today, the AES Ohio Foundation Board of Directors announced the approval of $1,565,000 in grants to 54 organizations. These grants are being awarded to local organizations in the 24-county AES Ohio service territory.
The AES Ohio Foundation Board reviewed 90 grant applications, with requests totaling more than $3.6 million. Having carefully reviewed the grant criteria, the board began their final discussions by considering which proposals aligned most closely with the Foundation’s strategic priorities and offered a meaningful, lasting benefit.

Since 1985, the AES Ohio Foundation has awarded more than $48 million in grants to local non-profit organizations, creating lasting benefits for our communities. The Foundation ensures all grant funding stays within 24-county service area, and we are proud to maintain our tradition of supporting programs and services that make a difference.
Nine of the fifty-four grants are known as Power Grants, totaling $745,000. These substantial awards are designed to empower partner organizations as they implement strategic programs that address the most critical needs within the community.

Forty-five organizations are being awarded Community Impact Grants. Among these, fourteen are non-profit groups receiving their first grants from the AES Ohio Foundation, which will support initiatives focused on employment preparedness and eviction advocacy. The recipients include:
