AES Ohio releases Community Impact Report, Energizing Community Together

AES Ohio, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), announces its 2025 Community Impact Report, Energizing Community Together. The report outlines the company's ongoing investments, partnerships, and dedication to improving the quality of life in West Central Ohio. AES Ohio and the AES Ohio Foundation invested $2 million across 108 initiatives, to strengthen community resilience, promote economic growth, and advance conservation.

Our Community Impact Report brings those efforts to life with real stories, local partnerships, and highlights from across our service area.
In 2025, AES Ohio employees volunteered more than 1,470 hours across the region. Our people planted trees with Five Rivers MetroParks, supported Shoes 4 the Shoeless, engaged with United Rehabilitation Services, and helped renovate homes with Rebuilding Together Dayton. Our partnership with The Foodbank delivered 80,000 pounds of food to nearly 2,000 residents and expanded mobile outreach through a new AES Ohio Foundation-funded van. We also continued our “Powering Hope” initiative with Pink Ribbon Good, using our pink bucket truck to raise awareness for breast and gynecological cancers in neighborhoods across our region.
In addition, our commitment to supporting customers remains strong. Through the Gift of Power program, now in its 11th year, AES Ohio is contributing $1 million to help families experiencing financial hardship. Generous donations from our employees and customers has exceeded $603,000. This reflects the compassion and kindness our community consistently shows by coming together to support families facing difficult times. Together, we are building stronger, more resilient communities to create lasting, positive growth throughout West Central Ohio.
