Unexpected events can sometimes cause financial challenges, such as job loss, the death of a spouse, major medical bills or other hardships that may affect your ability to pay bills on time. AES Ohio has partnered with The Salvation Army to provide emergency relief funding to customers with past due balances. who are experiencing difficulties paying their electric bills.
Since 2015, AES Ohio has donated $1.5 million to light the homes and hearts of our neighbors in West Central Ohio. Through customer and employee donations, the Gift of Power program has helped more than 5,000 customers keep their lights on.
AES Ohio will contribute $1 million to the 2026 Gift of Power campaign, bringing its total support to $2.5 million. AES Ohio has powered the Miami Valley for more than 110 years, serving as a trusted community partner and neighbor. Through initiatives like Gift of Power, AES Ohio continues its legacy of uplifting local families and supporting the community’s evolving needs.
