AES Ohio has partnered with The Salvation Army to provide emergency relief funding to customers who are facing disconnection and cannot pay their electric bills.
Anyone can get behind when unexpected things happen. The loss of a job, the death of a spouse, major medical bills or other financial hardships can come out of nowhere and make it difficult to stay current with your bills.
Since 2015, AES Ohio has donated more than $1.2 million to light the homes and hearts of our neighbors in Ohio. Along with customer donations, the Gift of Power program has helped more than 3,000 families keep their lights on.
Receive the Gift of Power
The 2023 Gift of Power application period begins January 17 and lasts through through April 14. The Salvation Army is now accepting calls at 937-528-5120 to schedule an interview.
Who qualifies?
AES Ohio customers who have received a disconnection notice.
Give the Gift of Power
You have the power to make a difference! By donating to Gift of Power, you will prevent disconnection or restore power to those in need. Every dollar donated will be administered by The Salvation Army to help friends, families and neighbors stay bright. Help us pay it forward by giving to the Gift of Power program.
