AES Ohio reminds customers of winter assistance programs

February 1, 2022

AES Ohio, a subsidiary of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), is raising awareness about winter assistance programs and other state and local energy programs for eligible customers. The National Energy Assistance Directors Association (NEADA) has designated February 1 as National Energy Assistance Day to help get the word out to low-income families that energy assistance funds are available to help them pay their home energy bills.

If you're having trouble paying your bill, one of these assistance programs could help you.

  • Income-qualified programs – the state of Ohio has programs available based on your household income and other eligibility requirements. For more information and to apply for the programs below, visit the Ohio Development Services Agency
